I was born and raised in Nederland, which located in the southeast part of Texas. It hosts the majority of America’s oil refineries. I went to college in Austin. I went to school for psychology, that’s not a surprise at this point. I don’t work in psychology though. I have been paying rent here for about six years. I always think it’s my last year here. I like knowing everything about someone to get to know myself better. I think of everything, and not in an admirable jagged-tapestry kind of girl, but I believe I have a lot of relatable thoughts and words to put with them, words to ask others for the sake of me feeling human. I typically write first perspective, slightly poetic, metaphorical essays that are colorful with dark themes. I write a lot about the complexities of friendship, female sexuality, relationships between boys and girls, pessimism, sometimes optimism. A bunch of different things. I like to travel and talk about my fat orange cat who hangs out between the bars of my apartment balcony barrier. I have a sister, lots of beer, and a full fridge. I have a lot to be thankful for. I have a lot to worry about. Thank you for the time you spend here, even if it’s just here.
